Job Description

The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will be responsible for generating new business globally. This will require formulating and executing marketing strategies across our verticals (fintechs, banks and insurance), reinforcing existing and establishing new channel partner relationships, developing and executing sales and partnership strategies in new geographies, and managing the entire sales life cycle and sales team. The CRO will also be responsible for sourcing and closing key transactions. The CRO will report directly to the CEO.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing marketing and sales strategy
  • Meeting assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives.
  • Building and leading the direct sales and channel teams
  • Leading the marketing team to develop effective sales collateral, digital campaign and conference attendance strategies
  • Driving process optimization, territory and quota development, forecasting, and sales compensation
  • Directly leading the sales effort for key clients and prospects

Ideal Background and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Minimum ten years hands-on sales experience in a high growth B2B software/SaaS business
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue goals
  • Experience building and leading a high performance GTM model.
  • Prior experience working closely with, or leading marketing initiatives.
  • Experience in hiring, mentoring, training and managing high-performance sales organizations.

Compensation

QRails will compensate the CRO with a highly competitive mix of base salary, sales-related commission and equity, commensurate with experience.

Location

The CRO can be based anywhere in the US or London, but Denver or London is preferred. Travel will be required.
